Since the Adopt a Kiosk programme was launched, more than 2,300 communities across the UK have seized the opportunity to do something wonderful with local phone boxes that had little or no usage.

Adopted kiosks have been adapted to include a grocery shop, a wildlife information centre, a coffee shop and the Community Heartbeat Trust charity has even installed defibrillators in some local boxes.
